Web UI Kit - PSD has been only WP themes till now. But now I am trying to add something to it. Here onwards I am trying to release some freebies I design on my trusted Photoshop . I consider this an opportunity to fine tune my PS skills ( Which needs a lot of fine tuning to be done ) and in that process give something back to the community from where I learn everything. This UI kit is my first attempt. It is a psd file with some UI elements like, progressbar, form items, slider, buttons, radio buttons, media buttons etc. Do leave some comments about how you like it or hate it. Namely you take something that you would otherwise offer for free (like an ebook, mp3 or other kind of digital media), and make it available to users only after they tweet about your website. Building such functionality is not as hard as you might think. Twitter made it even easier with their Web Intents – a dead simple way to integrate the platform in your website. Adding a chatroom to your webiste with WebStarts is simple. Just follow the instructions below.

1. Go to Xat.com

Go to Xat.com and click the button labeled 'make a chat box' on the far right side of the screen.

2. Customize your chatroom appearance.

Now that you've chosen the option to create a new chatroom you can customize your chatroom appearance. Click on any one of the thumbnail images near the top of the screen to change the background of your chatroom. You can also upload your own chatroom background image by clicking the icon labled 'Click for more or use your own'.

3. Copy and paste your code onto your WebStarts website.

Once you've finished customizing your chatroom click the copy button to copy your chatroom code to your clipboard. Navigate your way back to your WebStarts paged editor. Once you're on the page you would like to add the chatroom to click 'Insert' and then 'HTML Code' on the toolbar. Paste your chatroom code in the area provided and then click 'OK'. You'll then be able to drag and drop your chatroom wherever you would like it to appear on your webpage.

When building a web application, you oftentimes need to give users the ability to download a piece of data as a file. It could be a backup of configuration settings, reports, or other piece of information that is generated dynamically.
The usual solution to this problem would be to have a dedicated export script that selects from a database and builds the file you need. However, as we will be proving in this short tutorial, there is another way.
We will make a jQuery plugin which, combined with a simple php script, can generate every kind of textual file, and make it available for download. You will initiate the download from your JavaScript front end by only providing the file contents, and leave the rest to the plugin.
